Crafted for audiophiles and custom-install environments, the CCM8.5 D delivers serious sonic performance with a discrete aesthetic. It features a decoupled Diamond Dome tweeter, renowned for ultra-low distortion and exceptionally detailed high frequencies, paired with a 180 mm Continuum-cone mid/bass driver complete with an anti-resonance plug for clean, transparent midrange and substantial low-end. Both drivers are mounted on a rotatable mini-baffle, allowing precise toe-in and optimal coverage in any room layout.
Housed in a robust, Matrix-braced backbox, the internal structure minimizes resonance and ensures structural rigidity. Bi-wirable cables connect internally, simplifying installation while maintaining uncompromising audio quality. The CCM8.5 D retains compatibility with the original CCM8.5 backbox, making it easy to upgrade existing setups. Discreet yet refined, its magnetic paintable grille and minimal depth make it a refined solution for hidden audio that doesn’t compromise on performance.
