The KA‑1000‑THX is engineered as the cornerstone amplifier for Klipsch’s THX Ultra² subwoofer systems. It utilizes a high-efficiency Class D design powered by a substantial toroidal transformer delivering both towering continuous power and massive dynamic headroom. Built for reliability, it supports either a single subwoofer at 8 Ω or dual subs in parallel at 4 Ω, and it incorporates essential features including a defeatable low-pass crossover, adjustable phase, boundary gain compensation, and signal-sensing auto-on/off.
Connections include gold-plated RCA inputs and outputs for loop-through, plus professional SpeakOn® NL2 speaker outputs. The unit sports a full-featured front panel with crossover and level controls, phase adjustment, THX and bypass toggles, and LED indicators. Packaged in a robust black aluminum chassis with machined knobs, it blends high-end performance with professional build quality.
